Check Routine Receipts was built on one uncompromising rule: your home inventory is nobody's business but yours. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means in practice.
We collect nothing. Check Routine Receipts does not gather names, emails, device identifiers, location data, usage analytics, or any other personal information. There is no sign-up, so there is nothing to hand over in the first place.
Because no information is ever collected, none is ever used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. We have no servers processing your data because your data never travels anywhere near us.
Every receipt photo, warranty note, serial tag, and category you add is stored exclusively in local storage on your own device. Nothing is mirrored to a cloud service, backend database, or third-party server that we control.
The app contains no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or trackers. No SDK quietly phones home in the background. What you catalog stays inside the app, on your phone, full stop.
Since your records never leave your device, the strongest protection is architectural: there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Your device's own security settings (passcode, biometric lock) remain your first line of defense.
